The Gallery of Iconic Guitars at Belmont is Music City’s premier venue designed to celebrate some of the most rare and iconic guitars and stringed instruments ever known. The GIG features an intimate experience for visitors to view these prized instruments up-close, along with historically and technically in-depth information on each. It is our hope that these magnificent instruments and their stories serve to inspire legions of music enthusiasts from all generations.

The Ryman is known around the globe as one of the best performance halls in the world. Named Theatre of the Year in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015 by the venerable trade publication Pollstar Magazine, the historic venue is currently ranked twenty-fifth in the world and nineteenth domestically based on year-to-date tickets sales in the Pollstar Theatre category. Other awards include Venue of the Year nods from both the Academy of Country Music and the International Entertainment Buyers Association, and recently named SRO Venue of the Year presented by Country Music Association.

Scheduled to open in Downtown Nashville Labor Day 2020, the National Museum of African American Music will be a 56,000-square-foot facility that will encourage visitors to discover the central role African Americans have played in shaping and creating all genres of American music. From classical to country to jazz and hip hop, NMAAM will integrate history and interactive technology to share the untold story of more than 50 music genres and sub-genres.

The Mutopia Project offers sheet music editions of classical music for free download. These are based on editions in the public domain, and include works by Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Handel, Mozart, and many others.

The recordings digitized from this project are from labels owned by Sony Entertainment, and at present, it consists of about 10,000 Victor label recordings produced between 1901 and 1925, including repertoire from popular, folk, and operatic idioms.
