This course will introduce students to the expectations of the W.E.B. Du Bois Honors Program. Students will learn about the history of the program, including its namesake, and begin preparing for their senior honors project, the culmination of the program. Assignments will include readings about the honors program and about Du Bois; an annotated bibliography; and summaries of past students’ honors projects.
To remain in the honors program you must:
Students who do not meet these requirements will be placed on a one-semester probation. If the requirements are not met within that period, the student will be removed from the honors program.
To complete the honors program you must:
